Pendampingan Ibu-ibu Majlis Taklim Desa Sarirogo Sidoarjo dalam Meningkatkan Kepedulian Masyarakat terhadap Yatim Dhuafa melalui Kajian Wakaf Produktif

Abstract

This paper discusses the role of community empowerment, especially through religious groups like Majlis Taklim, in fostering social responsibility towards orphans (yatim) and the underprivileged (dhuafa). The specific focus of the study is the utilization of productive wakaf (Islamic endowment) as a sustainable means to support these groups. The program was carried out in Desa Sarirogo, Sidoarjo, where a mentoring initiative was conducted to increase awareness and community participation in productive wakaf. Through training and education, the Majlis Taklim group enhanced their knowledge and became actively involved in developing sustainable charitable practices.
